Hello everyone,
Hope you’re having an enjoyable Easter break.
There are only a few weeks left until the new season starts, so it’s time to dig out those Cricket whites and check they still fit!
There has been a lot of activity behind the scenes over the winter. You may have seen on Facebook or Twitter that our fantastic new net facilities have just been finished!
To ensure we’re ready for the start of the season, we would like to invite you to the Club Preparation Day on Sunday 8th April, from 10:00am.
Please come down for a couple of hours. The more people we have the easier it is, so bring parents/friends if you can! There are a number of things we need to do, including:
- Rolling the wicket
- Clearing out changing rooms
- Reinstate the sight screens
- Paint the old sightscreens & Scoreboard
- Put the boundary rope out
- Pressure washer the patio area
It’s also time to get membership forms and money in to secure your place in the team and help us balance the books. The Junior membership forms are also available on the website. As a committee, we are taking a tough stance on membership to ensure fairness for all members, so if you don’t pay you won’t play!
Finally, with the new General Data Protection Regulations becoming effective in May 2018, if anyone would like to opt out of our emails let me know. If any past members would like their personal details removed from our database you will also need to let me know. You can email me via the website.
