Dear all,
I hope you and your families are all keeping well. Some important updates for our members in this email.
The club committee have been meeting regularly via Zoom. Things are looking positive for a full cricket season and the clubhouse has also been redecorated - we will continue our ‘special arrangements’ in line with government guidelines, as we did last season. Your safety is our main priority!
Adults training
Adults training sessions will take place every Wednesday starting at 6pm on 14th April. Please note: all members must keep the nets clear and tidy, the nets and bowling machine must be locked up after use, no studs are allowed.
Colts training
Colts training sessions will take place on Friday 2 April (Good Friday) and Monday 5 April (Easter Monday), starting at 10:00am. Weekly colts training sessions will then take place on Fridays from 5:30 to 7:30pm.
Adults membership
Adults membership (annual subs) will be reduced by 50% to £60 for this year. This is to reflect the covid-restrictions in place (no teas or changing room access). Match fees will remain at £10 for adults and £5 for students to cover the cost of cricket balls and our groundsman. We will start collecting your subs now.
Work party
As always, we need help from our members to get the facilities ready for the season (clearing the nets, setting up sight-screens, painting scoreboards & general tidy up). Work parties will take place with social distancing on two days - Saturday 10th & Sunday 11th April, starting at 10am. Please note: If you want to turn up for training and matches, you are expected to help with the work parties!
That’s all the updates for now. I hope you’re all looking forward to another successful season.
Kind regards,
Neil
