CODE OF CONDUCT

 

                                              Parents /Spectators

 

 

The following describes the conduct required of Ruislip Cricket Club parents and spectators

 

 

Parents and Spectators should.

 

Be aware that they have a great influence on children’s enjoyment and success.

Encourage children to enjoy their Cricket, thereby promoting a sense of personal achievement and self-esteem which in turn will improve the child’s skills and techniques.

Be aware that their conduct will have a significant bearing on a child’s attitude towards other players, match officials, team officials and supporters and therefore this should be of the highest standard at all times.

Ensure that they are always positive and encouraging towards all children and not just their own.

Applaud the opposition as well as their own side.

Avoid all coaching activities during the game.

Not shout and scream, and ensure a positive attitude at all times.

Respect decisions of match officials.

Give attention to each of the children involved in cricket and not just the most talented.
