Ruislip Cricket Club - COVID Pandemic

This page provides Ruislip Cricket Club members with guidance regarding the return of competitive cricket following the COVID (Coronavirus) pandemic in 2020.

Government guidance permits the return of Adults league cricket commencing on 11 July 2020.

Ruislip Cricket Club has made specific adjustments which are aligned with guidance from the UK government and England and Wales Cricket Board (the ECB). In summary:

1. Social distancing should be maintained where possible both on and off the field.
2. Regular cleaning of the ball and of players’ hands must take place in hygiene breaks during play.
3. People should be using outdoor space as much as possible.
4. No use of changing rooms – players must arrive ready to play.

The club committee has put up signs on the premises which provide additional guidance for players and spectators.

Further information is published on this dedicated page of the ECB website.
